Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate is a mild, sulfate free, naturally derived surfactant based on L-glutamic acid and lauric acid. It approaches weak acidity with skin, possesses a snug, soft and smooth skin feeling. It is non-irritant, non-allergic and non-comedogenic. It is easily biodegradable and shows resistance to water.It is commonly used in natural and organic skincare products due to its gentle nature and biodegradability, making it a popular alternative to traditional surfactants.
- Excellent foamability, it produces moderate to good foam.
- Gentle to the skin and imparts very pleasant skin feeling and is effective at improving the skin mildness in surfactant formulas.
- Exhibits very low potential of VOC and improves hair care properties.
