Sodium cocoyl sarcosinate is an sodium salt of an acyl derivative of sarcosine, which is a natural amino acid found in muscles and other body tissues. It is readily biodegradable.They are used as hair-conditioning agents and surfactant-cleansing agents in cosmetics, as well as to improve wetting and penetration of topical pharmaceutical products.
- Sodium cocoyl sarcosinate is solvent-free, high-purity, mild, safe and low-irritant;
- It has excellent stability and foamability in the pH range from strong alkali to weak acid;
- Has low degreasing power, and the skin feels moisturizing and not tight;
- Good compatibility and can be compounded with other anionic surfactants to reduce irritation and improve foaming performance.
