Methylisothiazolinone, MIT, or MI, is a powerful synthetic biocide and preservative within the group of isothiazolinones. This series product by Quzhou Ebright Chemicals Co.,Ltd are with different concentration of 10%, 20% or 50%.
It can inhibit the growth and reproduction of various microorganisms (such as bacteria, fungi, yeast, etc.), and is a broad-spectrum bactericide that is widely used. Compared with other types of fungicides, isothiazolinone fungicides have the advantages of obvious effect and fast action speed for controlling the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and preventing the formation of biofilms.
Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) is suitable for water-based systems such as daily chemicals, cosmetics, coatings, and polymer synthetic emulsions.

The active ingredient of CMIT/MIT is Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone with a mixture of 3:1, the total concentration is 14%, also known as Kathon.
Benzisothiazolinone (BIT-20) is a 20% dipropylene glycol solution of 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one. It is a broad spectrum, formaldehyde-free, in-can biocide.
