Germall Plus Liquid preservative is one of the classic preservatives , This family of preservatives, including Liquid Germall Plus, delivers efficient anitmicrobial power to a wide variety of personal care products.
Germall Plus Liquid is a convenient, easy to incorporate version of Germall Plus dissolved in a base of 60% propylene glycol.
Germall Plus Liquid is balanced, synergistic and boasting broad-spectrum protection, is compatible with many other cosmetic ingredients.
Germall Plus Liquid is one of the most effective antimicrobials and inhibits the growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and molds.
Germall Plus Liquid can be incorporated into a variety of leave-on and rinse-off cosmetic and personal care formulations for broad preservation.
Germall Plus Liquid s is effective over a broad pH range from 3-8. It is soluble in cationic, anionic and nonionic water-soluble formulations, as well as in the emulsified portion of water-in-oil or oil-in-water emulsions.
Germall Plus Liquid can be used in surfactant based systems such as shampoos and body/shower gels, conditioners and other high water content products.
Germall Plus Liquid is ideal for water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions, creams and lotions, make-up and other highly pigmented products.
Germall Plus Liquid shall not for use in products intended to be aerosolized.
Germall Plus Liquid is highly effective at low concentrations making it a very cost effective preservative.
Germall Plus Liquid typical recommended use level: 0.1%-0.5% of total formulation weight. Add to finished formulation at cool-down-50C/122F or less.
Germall Plus Liquid is approved for use in most countries, the family of preservatives are effective at low doses and can be used to bolster other preservatives.
