  • Ingredient: Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Methylparaben (and) Propylparaben

EBTcare DMP is a solubilized combined preservative of Diazolidinyl Urea with Methyl paraben, Propyl Paraben and IPBC, very effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and against yeast and mold. It is a clear, viscous liquid, is a convenient, ready-to-use complete antimicrobial preservative system with broad spectrum activity.

EBTcare DMP can be used without additional co-preservatives and is compatible with various surfactants, proteins and most cosmetic ingredients, it can be conveniently incorporated into hot or cold processed shampoos and into creams and lotions during their manufacture. Preferred method of addition of EBTcare DMP is to add it slowly to the formulation below 60°C with good stirring just prior to the addition of the fragrance.

Dissolved completely in cosmetic formulations up to a 1.0% concentration over a wide pH range (3.0-7.5), recommended dosage is 0.3~1.0% .

Uses & Applications

Personal care

Used in creams, lotions, shampoos, wet wipes and other kinds of leave-on and risen-off products, especially suitable for oil-in-water emulsion products with an oil phase <25% .

Household care

Widely used as preservative in detergents dishwashing liquids,and cleaning agents.
