Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate

Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate offered by Quzhou Ebright Chemicals is equivalent to Parsol DHHB by DSM and Uvinul A Plus by BASF, it is a new generation, chemical sunscreen agent, designed for high UVA protection and high photostability. It is an oil-soluble, white-to-light-salmon colored granular powder, gives sun protection in the whole UVA range (320-400 nm) with peak protection at 354nm.

DHHB has the same effect as the current best UVA sunscreen Avobenzone. However, its stability in the sun is much better than Avobenzone,as Avobenzone’s ability to absorb ultraviolet radiation will quickly reduce in the sun. Therefore in the formula you need to add other UV absorber as a light stabilizer, in order to reduce the loss of Avobenzone. While it is not necessary to worry about this problem when using DHHB. DHHB instead of Avobenzone, become a model UVA sunscreen agent, with better light stability than Avobenzone, do not need to add MBC, OMC compound, with lower cost andbetter effect.

Currently it is not an FDA-approved sunscreen agent in the United States; however, it is an approved UV filter in many other markets, including the European Union, China, Australia, and Japan at a 10% maximum concentration.
