BIT-10

BIT-10 is 10% active glycol based solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolinone;

BIT-10 is a low toxicity biocide developed for the complete in-can protection of water-based products.

BIT-10 is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gam positive and gram negative bacteria, yeast and fungi.

BIT-10 is compatible with most raw materials used in the manufacture of industrial products, BIT-10 compatibility should always be checked and evaluated before use.

BIT-10 is recommended for preservation of a wide range of applications including water based, casein, animal bone based and PVA adhesives. Polymer emulsions including, SBR latex, Polyvinyl acetate and acrylic. Water based decorative paints, metal workings fluids, Calcium Carbonate and Kaolin mineral slurries and concrete add-mixtures.

BIT-10 is effective against a wide range of spoilage organisms and effective over a wide PH and temperature range. BIT-10 should be the biocide of choice for products with PH>8 and production temperatures of >40C.

    BIT-10  is Inactive to alkali; suitable for use in the medium of the pH value in the range of 2-14.

 

  1. Precautions

Operational instruction must be strictly followed. Avoid any contact with the skin. Wear protective clothes, goggles, and rubber gloves in operation. Once any contact with the skin happens, wash the skin immediately with plenty of water and soaps; when it splashes into eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and buffer solutions.

With a shelf time of one year when stored at room temperature in a dark, air-tight, and moisture-proof place.
