Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine supplied by Quzhou Ebright Chemicals is equivalent to Tinosorb S by BASF, also known as Bemotrizinol, it is a new broad-spectrum sunscreen, belongs to the oil soluble chemical sunscreen.
- Appears as a crystalline powder that is pale yellow in color, soluble in organic solvents but insoluble in water.
- Protect a part of the UVB and most of the UVA, absorption wavelength between 290-370nm. Protection function against UVA is comparable to avobenzone.
- Has strong synergistic effects on the SPF when formulated with bisoctrizole, ethylhexyl triazone or iscotrizinol. It is the most effective UV absorber available measured by SPF, based on the maximum concentration
- Highly photostable, meaning it doesn’t degrade or break down easily under UV radiation, making it quite reliable.
- Its molecular weight is large, not easy to be absorbed by the skin. It has strong stability, can also be used as a stabilizer of other chemical sunscreen.

- Widely used as UV filters in sunscreens and cosmetics to prevent sunburn and skin damage, or as stabilizers to prevent photodegradation in many commercial products.
