Benzophenone-5,also know as Sulibenzone, is the sodium salt brother of Benzophenone-4, acts as a broad spectrum UV filter to protect skin from UVA as well as UVB rays.
Benzophenone-5 is a water soluble product, is mainly used in water-soluble sunscreen cosmetics.
Benzophenone-5 is to improve the durability of the dyed textile color, prevent wool textile with yellowing, prevent the discoloration of synthetic fabrics, at the same time be able to use in hair gels, moss and other supplies to prevent the damaged hair caused by the ultraviolet radiation to become white.
Benzophenone-1, -3, -4, -5, -9 and-11 are compounds made from 2-hydroxybenzophenone. These compounds are powders.
